Benefits of home offices

Technology has been making it easier to work from home in the past few years, but the Coronavirus crisis has really increased the speed at which entire companies made working from home feasible. Some companies aren’t likely to reopen their offices for the foreseeable future and many companies will take the opportunity to downsize their expensive office space or encourage staff to work from home to maintain and adhere to social distancing rules.
Working from home can boost your productivity
Offices, by nature are a very communal place and a by-product of this is office noise. This may not register with some staff but could have a detrimental effect on other employees and their work. With your own home office, you can say goodbye to that colleague who is a little heavy handed with their keyboard.
No more commuting!
Surely this must be the number one win for working at home. The average commute in the UK is 59 minutes or a whole 221 hours a year! Working from home means you miss out on the morning traffic or the squeeze of a train carriage in rush hour, saving you time and money on your daily commute. This time can be better used to tackle the laundry, complete a morning fitness session to get your ready for your day or just spend a little more time with your family.
Custom your environment
You can set your own temperature, space and radio station (here are the top most productive styles of music for work) to make your day more comfortable. Halo Interiors can create a custom built office space in your home (in even the smallest space) to make sure that your home office is suiting your needs.
