Eco-friendly kitchen designs

When planning a new home project, you are likely to consider budget, style, and colours but have you ever considered that you can also install an environmentally friendly kitchen? We can design and install a Rotpunkt kitchen, manufactured in an energy-efficient manner, that is 100% recyclable without losing an ounce of elegance.

Rotpunkt manufactures kitchens that consist of PEFC certified BioBoard, a lightweight yet durable material that is made with fast-growing plants. This reduces wood usage by up to 37% as trees are sourced from sustainably harvested forests.

Their new range, Core, upholds these green credentials whilst bringing a touch of contemporary style to your home. Its distinct solid metal finish extends from the front to the internal side of the door, to enhance the design. You can also choose from four beautiful earthy tones; carbon (pictured), bronze, brown and grey brushed metal.

But why stop there when you can include an innovative Core island unit (as pictured above), that not only provides storage but your very own countertop herb garden. With a recessed cavity that can be filled with soil, herbs, and micro greens you will be able to bring the outdoors, in!

Matt Phillips, Head of UK Operations at Rotpunkt, says: “Our zero-carbon manufacturing process means we can develop high-quality furniture solutions that are contemporary by design and kind to the environment, and this is why our new Core door range is the perfect collection to inspire your very own green kitchen design.”

If you want to know how the new Core design could work for your home, contact us (or come into our showroom) to discuss and we will provide a CAD design.
